Small town of Côtes d'Armor in Brittany, Pommerit-le-Vicomte takes place about forty kilometers from the city of Saint-Brieuc, in the historic land of Treg. It is located on the shores of Trieux, near Squiffiec, Lannebert and Le Faouët.

Populated since Gallo-Roman times, as evidenced by the remains found there, the territory of Pommerit-le-Vicomte experiencing a major boom in the Middle Ages with the implementation of the Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem in the twelfth century. Scene of a fierce battle at the end of the fifteenth century in the context of decision Guingamp in the French village known thereafter a peaceful history, to pangs of guerrilla warfare in the early nineteenth century. Things to see and do

Rebuilt in the twentieth century, Notre Dame still has a bedside fourteenth century. The bell tower dates meanwhile the early eighteenth century and reveals a Greco-Roman style original and rises to 34 meters high. Ranked the Buildings of France, it also has a restored boom in the late 1990s Inside, lovers of beautiful religious architecture will appreciate the confessionals of the seventeenth century or the statues of St. Michael and St. Anthony. In the church park lies an incredible millennium yew, the oldest of the department.

Listed building, the Chapel of Paradise has a lot of beautiful gargoyles. Built in the early fifteenth century, it still reveals today a Renaissance porch and a Gothic portal of the sixteenth century. Guided tours are offered by volunteers.

Listed historic monument, the Restmeur the castle is an architectural complex of the eighteenth century, unveiling including stables, a chapel, a lodge guests and a pavilion Chaplain. It reveals a very beautiful style of the Age of Enlightenment available to the public.

Rebuilt in the first half of the nineteenth century, the Notre-Dame-du-Folgoat takes place in a beautiful green setting. It has in its interior a statue of the Virgin wooden polychrome.
