Market Halls Centrales

Monument in Limoges

Built in the late nineteenth century, between 1885 and 1889, the central markets of Limoges take place in the heart of downtown, on the place de la Motte. Classified as an historic monument, they received a major renovation project in the late 2010s.

Entirely in brick, metal, glass and zinc, the central markets also have a frieze porcelain limougeaude on the facades. It reveals 368 panels depicting products sold on site.

They welcome today traders and animations.
