Located in the heart of Limoges, in Haute-Vienne, St. Pierre du Queyroix church is a gothic jewels of the city. Listed building, it reveals its visitors a Limousin type of tower and incredible altars and statues in gilded wood of the sixteenth and the eighteenth century.
Built between the thirteenth and sixteenth century, it still has some Romanesque features in addition to its baroque altarpieces from the former Jesuit chapel and stained glass of the sixteenth by Jean Pénicaud representing death and the coronation of the Virgin.
Walking through the building, it is also possible to discover the ossuary crypt and stained glass of the miraculous catch whose paper was made by Gustave Doré in the second half of the nineteenth century.
