Ligré

Ligré hosts on its territory a large number of sites listed as Historic Monuments. During your walks, you will be able to discover the 12th century Saint-Martin church. Partly rebuilt in the 19th century following a fire, it reveals a modern nave, as well as a facade pierced by a pointed arch portal surmounted by a rose window.

Don't miss the Château de Sassay, a 17th century residential building with a facade featuring a polygonal tower with projecting stairs. The ensemble is enhanced by several pavilions, a perpendicular wing from the 17th century or even a dovecote from the 16th century.

The former priory of Roches-Saint-Paul is also visible to visitors. It is thus possible to discover vestiges of the building of the 16th and 17th centuries in the form of buildings with two wings with polygonal turret in medium size stone apparatus.

Also listed as a Historic Monument, the Beauvais manor is an inhabited private property not accessible to visitors. This rectangular main building served by a wooden staircase with balusters is however visible from the outside.

Older and more accessible, the Carroir Bon Air dolmen is listed as a Historic Monument.

Fireworks and torchlight parade are offered every year on July 14 to celebrate the national holiday.
