Cathedral of the bishopric of Die, in the Drôme, from the 4th century to the beginning of the 19th century, the Notre-Dame cathedral was erected in the 12th century, then rebuilt during the 17th century. Listed as a Historic Monument, it is accessible via three side doors leading to the nave behind the Romanesque bell tower-porch. Square in shape, the sacristy attached to the apse is a vestige of the old original Romanesque construction.
Partly destroyed during the particularly virulent wars of religion in the region, the Notre-Dame cathedral presents elements from different eras which bear witness to its rich history.
