Old feudal fortress of the twelfth century Camjac located in the Aveyron, the Château du Bosc is best known today for having been the family home of French painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, famous for his involvement in the post-impressionism and 'Art Nouveau.
This is the nineteenth century that the grandmother of the artist, the Countess Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec decided to transform the austere castle friendly and welcoming home. There she also add a chapel around 1880.
Registered historic monument, the castle of Bosc today traces the family history through children's drawings, lithographs, posters or other personal items. It is also possible to admire beautiful Aubusson tapestries of the seventeenth century depicting the history of Alexander the Great or the Greens eighteenth century. Thematic exhibitions are also organized regularly.
The pleasure garden, very nice too, is itself listed as a general cultural heritage.
