Not accessible to the public due to its state of disrepair, the town hall tower of Pays de Belvès now benefits from a classification as a Historic Monument. This early 14th century bell tower is the only remnant of a former convent of preaching brothers which originally included a church, cloister and convent buildings.
A square tower changing to an octagon thanks to glacis at 45°, the Pays de Belvès town hall tower is the only example of this type in Périgord.
