Smooth arrival procedure. The large and beautiful house has an authentic Provençal ambiance. It is a true family home, not a bland vacation rental. Good bedrooms with comfortable mattrasses. Well furnished with plenty of chairs, sunbeds and shades. Abundantly provided with house-, kitchen-, pool-, beach utensils and books, music, toys and games. Rural and uncrowded setting with total privacy and within easy distance of the coast and gorges. Different terraces so everybody could find a quiet spot when so desired. The large and clean pool provided endless fun and coolness. Housekeeping couple very helpful and unobtrusive. As clearly stated due to stairs not suited for people with mobility issues. Advice: one bedroom not air conditioned which attracts more mosquitos. Bring a net. House highly recommended.

We were two Swiss families with a total of 3 adults / 4 kids (between 6 and 14) on holidays for 2 weeks. The house and its surroundings are simply fantastic ! A little cozy place here and there. A huge veranda and perfect size pool for young and old. SItting together, playing a round of cards, drinking a glass of wine and playing petanque in the evening just made this a great vacation. In a 15 minute drive you will be able to visit a great provencale market in Lorgues. Beaches of Saint Raphael/Frejus are just about 45 minutes. And if one feels like shopping the beautiful city of Cannes is just an hour drive. Les Chenes Verts is perfectly equipped with all one may need during a vacation. The house is full of charme and atmosphere. One can literallly feel the passion the owners put into this over the years !

This is an absolutely amazing house! Excellent social areas, on the terrace and by the pool. We were 10 friends and enjoyed the place to the fullest. There are loads of nice outings to be made within an hour driving. The beach, the mountains and quiet picturesque villages. We were warmly welcomed by David and everything was well explained, from the pool and pizza oven (!) to the different switches for the lights and the keys :) - The house was clean and spacious with several bathrooms and AC in the bedrooms. We will definitely be back! A bientôt!

As 2 families holidaying together this property suited us well as each family had their own part of the house with lots of communal space for socialising. We loved using the outdoor kitchen and eating on the terrace. Air conditioning was great given the heat wave. The kids loved the pool and the inflatables. The area was lovely with plenty to explore. The house was very clean and well equipped. A fantastic, relaxing week - we would all like to return. Highly recommend !

Having stayed two years running at Les Chenes Verts we have found it to be the perfect place for an extended family group. Whatever the weather or time of day, there is always somewhere pleasant to sit, to contemplate the gardens, the petanque court or the beautiful view of the distant hills. Some of the aspects that we found particularly beneficial were : the generous sized pool - we spent hours in it. The 2 units are very well equipped with everything you might need, particularly if you want to cook or need to do washing. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat of the day and my parents were pleased to have their own self-contained accommodation. There are even yoga mats available - I can thoroughly recommend practising yoga at sunrise on the main terrace ! The property has been clean and ready for us both times we've stayed and the owner is very friendly and responsive to any questions. Nearby attractions for the younger members of the family include canoeing on the Argens and accrobranche, both located together on the road to Carces – D562, and go karting at Le Luc. The nearby villages are a delight – Entrecasteaux and Villecroze being just two that are well worth a visit. The Tuesday market at Lorgues is good – but our main reason for visiting this year was to get our hands on the nougat sold at one of the stalls. It is very expensive but fabulous ! Arrive early as it gets extremely busy. My brother took his daughter (19) on what looked like a hair-raising walk in the Gorges du Verdon, but they came back with huge grins on their faces. My son and I went for the gentler activity of snorkelling in the Med. Overall, highly recommended. Recommended for : Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Age 55 +, Families with Teenagers
