The cottage is sweet, relaxing, convenient, clean. Two baths is a real plus. If you have the opportunity, share a meal at the table of Chantal and Pierre. The food was local, fresh, and exquisitely prepared and the hosts were delightful. The country side is miles and miles of pastoral peace as if you had stepped into an impressionists painting 100 years ago. We never set an alarm clock and yet we managed to visit Mont St. Michel, Giverney, Honfleur, Omaha Beach, William the Conqueror's Castle (don't overlook this engaging tour), and Chateau de Vendeuvre (a hidden gem), and more. We, also, found time to dine at the local creperie in Saint-Pierre-Sur -Dives several times and visit the open market, as well. If you are looking for a faster pace for a day or two, you are only two hours from Versailles and Paris. Visit Normandy, if you like art, history, peace and quiet, and friendly people.

This s a wonderful place with peace and beauty. Pierre and Chantal are nice, generous and interesting host. Their food and their rose is a delight with produce grown in their own garden. Only problem with this place is that once discovered we always want to go back !
