Charming summer cottage, cottage located in the countryside but only 600 m from the Baths of Salies-de-Béarn, on the heights... This comfortable and well equipped cottage has been decorated with great care. On the floor, two large rooms (bed 140 in each + a bed 90 in a) with a view of the surrounding countryside and the Pyrenees are separated by a small living room. The ground floor consists of an entrance, a bathroom and separate WC and a large kitchen (with laundry) with a large bay window opens onto the terrace (with tables and chairs in teak, garden chairs, chairs and parasol) and garden; The morning tour deer, rabbits and squirrels is almost daily... - The cottage is located behind my own house, totally independent and without any opposite (the advantage is that if you are missing anything... I'm there to help you out!) - books are available as well as games for children also. A baby cot is available and high chair. All bed linen is included as well as tablecloths, napkins, tea towels + towels.
A beautiful hidden gem. Dominique is a super host, caring and always available when you need her. The cottage is located in an area surrounded by pure French essence. It is decorated with all sort of beautiful objects which helps to live the French experience in full. We will definitely come back when we have the chance...

We have stayed at La Louisiane many times. The property is an enchanting hilltop barn conversion above Salies-de-Béarn overlooking fields and oak woods. The host is charming and helpful and the gîte is kept spotlessly clean. Salies is less than a 10 minute walk away, the Pyrenees or Basque coast not far to drive. We have loved every visit…
A lovely and quiet place in a typical village of Béarn, near both the mountains and the seaside !
The cottage, an appendage to the main house, is situated in a large and quiet property. It has all the modern comfort one could need : washing machine, oven, microwave, coffee maker … Moreover, the decoration is delicate and without sterile item; quite subtle in fact ! The enthusiastic Madame Golfier will quickly make you feel at home and the breakfast on the terrace is a great experience. Gastronomic specialities from either the Pays Basque and the Béarn (don't mix if you want to stay in friendly terms with the locals…) will be the cherry on the cake of an unforgettable sojourn at “La Louisiane”.
