Ideally located at the entrance of Entre 2 Mers (area east of Bordeaux, often called "Petite Toscane"); 20 minutes from Bordeaux city heritage of Unesco, second city after Paris for the number of museums and places of visit. Built in the old wine storehouse of a beautiful house of the XVIIIth century, quietly on the edge of the forest with direct access to hiking or mountain biking trails; close to the bike path Roger Lapebie (Bordeaux-Sauveterre: 50 km in own site). Lovers of countryside, medieval culture, Romanesque art, vineyard and wine, hiking, old stones, markets will find their happiness to carry with the hand. The renovation wanted to preserve the significant elements of the cellar; the decor is inspired by the culture of the vine and the wine. The elements of comfort have not been forgotten to make it a place of relaxation, rest and conviviality: kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 wc. Outside a private English court opens onto a landscaped garden of 400 m². Barbecue, plancha, outdoor games, 5 bicycles are available to live outside in the summer. In winter, the living room with wood burning stove, library and hi-fi equipment, tv, dvd offer a very warm alternative to holidaymakers. Cyclists and bikers will find a closed garage and a mechanical workshop adjoining the gîte. We are available to help you prepare your stay, tell you the "nuggets" of our region and tell you the history of the place. I can also guide bikers on the roads (half-day or full day).
