We normally rent a large house for extended family get togethers in France and this was one of the best, for its price, we have stayed at. Firstly the ardeche area is great for holidays - river swimming, canoe, canyoning etc are all superb, with other options for the less adventurous. Secondly the house was decorated and equipped to a very high standard, with everything clean and functioning - no 'snag list' phone calls on the first day when things didn't work. When we did have questions Helene and her husband were always quick to respond and help. This combined with their local knowledge meant they were great hosts. All in all it was great.
