The case of force majeure is recognized if the tenant justifies serious reasons making it impossible for the rental to proceed completely. In this case, the owner may proceed to the restitution of the sums already paid, corresponding to the proportion of the duration of occupation not carried out. In case of cancellation by the owner: the owner will endeavor to offer an equivalent replacement accommodation. If he has no other accommodation to offer he will pay the customer, as a penalty clause, damages whose amount will be equal to twice the deposit received on the day of booking.
