You will be able to book the gite by e-mail, but this should not be considered as a confirmed reservation. Booking options by email will only be guaranteed for 5 working days until confirmation by post is received. After this time, the reservation will not be valid. 1.2 – Booking request. Benoit or Eric will send you a confirmation fax, letter or email, to ensure you that everything is in order. 1.4 – Payment of the rental fees. Any rent has to be fully paid before the end of your stay. The first down payment when you make the reservation, and the balance the day of your arrival at Domaine d'En Pilote. 2 – General information about your stay at the Domaine d'En Pilote. If you are staying at least one week at the Domaine d'En Pilote, accommodation will be ready on the first day at 4 pm. The check out time on your day of departure will be at noon. Arrival and departures days are on Saturdays. In case of late arrival (after 8 pm), please inform us in advance. If you arrive before the above times the accommodation may not be ready. In this case, you will be able, if you wish to do so, leave your luggage with us, until you return after a bit of sightseeing or a visit to the village, you can also stay on the property if you wish, weather permitting. 3 – Deposit. Upon your arrival, 200 € deposit will be asked for and returned to you on your departure, only if the cottage has been cleaned and nothing is missing or damaged. An inventory of fixtures and fittings will be done on the day you arrive at the cottage. The tenant can also do it him/herself, asking him/her to inform us immediately of any damage or missing items. For late night or early morning departures the deposit will be sent to you later, subject to any possible deductions for cleaning, repairs or missing items. If you decide to leave without doing an inventory of fixtures or fittings, any repairs or replaced items will be the decision of the owners and any deductions will be deducted from the deposit. 4 – Pets. Pets are not allowed. Exceptions can be made, on a case-to-case basis, and must be discussed with us prior to your arrival. 5 – Cancellation. Any changes related to your stay will be considered as a cancellation, and must be replaced by a new booking. In this case, the conditions of cancellation are as follows : More than 45 days before the arrival date : 5% - Between 45 and 21 days before the arrival date : 25% - In case of no-show on the schedule arrival day, no refund will be made, except for exceptional reason. Be careful : if you arrive later or leave earlier than scheduled, no refund will be made either. 6 - Caution. Arrival after the scheduled day or anticipated departure will be considered as a cancellation for the non used period, no refund will be given, whatever the reason of departure is. 7 - Thefts, Damage and Insurance. Benoît Loubet and Eric Loubet will not be held responsible for any theft or damage to your person or personal belongings, while on the domain, or outside. It would be the same for any kind of body damage. We suggest you do not bring valuable things, or large amounts of cash. 7.1 Responsibility. We suggest that you to take a personal insurance cover. Our insurance covers only our own responsibilities. 7.2 Swimming-pool. Access to the swimming pool remains your responsibility for any kind of damage. You will also be responsible for looking after any children in your charge who are in the swimming-pool area. Pets are not accepted in the pool area. 8. Dispute.
