La Bouyssette, gite avec piscine

We stayed for a week in this very pleasant gite. The owners were friendly and helpful. It was in a lovely quiet rural setting. But only a short drive away from the attractive old town of Puy l'Eveque.

We had a wonderful holiday at this special place. The gite is in the most beautiful setting and the gardens and grounds are idyllic. The pool was fantastic and the perfect way to cool down after a day exploring all the gorgeous towns and villages nearby. The gite was also really well equipped and had everything you would need. It is much bigger than it looks in the photographs but we spent most of our time eating outside in the lovely covered dining area. Ben and Diny were very kind and friendly hosts and we had fun meeting all the other members of the clan including the lamas, sheep, chickens and cats. This is the most beautiful area of France we have visited and would love to go back to La Bouyssette again for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

We've just spent 4 wonderful weeks at La Bouyssette where we both relaxed and explored the beautiful Lot/Dordogne region. Diny and Ben were extremely welcoming and helpful with all of our needs and enquiries. They also suggested several interesting places to visit which we'd never been aware of. The gite was clean and had great character. At night we heard only night birds or the occasional deer calling. The pool was beautifully maintained and we made good use of it as the weather warmed. The animals were thoroughly delightful: sheep, llamas, chickens and 2 cats. If anyone wants a holiday away from noise but within a 5 minute drive or half hour walk from the lovey town of Puy L'Eveque then we can recommend La Bouyssette. Tina, Heather & Sharon.
