Known for its thermal baths, Le Monétier Les Bains is an exceptional mountain resort in both summer and winter. In addition, a cross-country ski run crosses Monétier. Other activities include ice skating, horse riding, ice karting and paragliding. In summer, the valley and the Ecrins National Park, which runs alongside Monétier, offer for mountaineers, many possibilities of trekking and climbing, for the climbers of the mythical ascension of Cols du Galibier and Izoard or so as rafting and kayaking on the Guisane, or other activities such as tennis, paragliding, canyoning, fishing, horse riding, swimming, karting, and adventure parks.
