This secluded traditional farmhouse with its 10x5m private pool is nestled between the vineyards and the Aude River. Relax on the sun-drenched terraces with a fresh locally produced rosé wine, enjoy a swim in the pool, pick fresh figs from our trees and end the day with a barbecue on the tiled terraces or make the short trip to a selection of fabulous restaurants in Narbonne. For the more adventurous, you can fish in the river or venture further to explore the Languedoc region. There are attractions for young and old - vast Mediterranean beaches are a short drive away, through The Clape Nature Park, visit the Sigean Wildlife Park, rent a boat on the Canal du Midi or visit the many wine castles. Domaine de Favette is a spacious and restored 19th century farmhouse located in its own 4000 sqm plot, combining many original features with all the amenities to make your stay truly comfortable. Most of the rooms have original oak beams and tiled floors. All rooms have wooden shutters, which can be left ajar during the day to keep rooms cool even in the hottest weather. Three double bedrooms (two with adjoining shower room) and two twin bedrooms, family bathroom and a powder room downstairs. Large open-plan living room comfortably furnished with original beams, tiled floor and wood-burning stove, there are sofas and a dining table, with Internet TV and DVD/CD player. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, dishwasher and microwave, a washing machine, freezer and an additional refrigerator in a separate laundry room. The house is 2.5 km north of Coursan, offering peace and quiet, and a short drive or bike ride from all the local facilities.
