Other | Lease - Important information - please take the time to read - Summary of lease conditions: This agreement is concluded between: (1) Katie Beeston ("Katie Beeston," "us" or "our"), acting as the owner of the property ("Owner/Manager"), and (2) the person who is the tenant responsible for the property (collectively "Locataire" or "you"). The property should not be used by more people than the number of adults and children listed in your booking. Not all customers should engage in illegal activities. The quiet hours are from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Pets are not allowed. The tenant responsible must be at least 25 years old. Guests under the age of 25 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Smoking is prohibited inside the premises. It is forbidden to take pictures or film for commercial purposes in the property. Tents or other structures can only be set up by prior written agreement. The tenant is responsible for any damage to the property and agrees to pay the card on file if damage occurs during the occupation. Airbnb Cancellation Policy Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to check-in. No refunds for cancellations made in the 7 days prior to check-in. We strongly recommend that you take out your own travel or cancellation insurance - Arrival - - Your accommodation is available on the day of the start of your holiday from 4 p.m. Early check-in or late departure may be possible; additional fees may apply. Departure - - You will need to vacate your accommodation before 10 a.m. on the day of your departure. You may need to leave your home later. Additional fees may apply. If you do not leave your accommodation before the departure time (or before the agreed late departure time), you allow us to charge on your registered credit card a late departure fee of up to one night's rental and we can remove all occupants and their personal belongings from the property. Access - - The property manager will meet you at your accommodation at an agreed time after 4 p.m. Occupation - The total number of people in the dwelling must not exceed a maximum of 14 adults. Cars - The Belle Époque can accommodate up to 6 cars with off-road parking and all vehicles are left at the risk of their owner. Wifi - is included in the rental price and login details will be provided in your welcome folder. Linen - All bedding and towels are provided free of charge. Please also note: 1. Smoking is strictly prohibited in our homes. 2. The lease is governed by French law. 3. Prohibited criminal activity. The use of property for any criminal activity is prohibited and may result in fines or prosecution. This prohibition extends to the use of the property's Internet service, where applicable, for criminal activity, including, but not limited to, the illegal downloading of copyrighted material, including movies, music, software or other material. We will cooperate with any investigation into alleged criminal activity within the Property during your stay. 4. Compensation. You agree to keep La Belle Époque and its owner unscathed and covered by any claim for property damage, personal injury or monetary losses resulting from your actions or omissions, and the actions or omissions of other Occupants, during your stay. 5. Events and commercial photography; structures. Commercial events and photographs or shoots are prohibited at the property without our express written permission. 6. Good Neighbourhood Policy. The property is a private house, and we have a good neighbourly policy. Please treat the property with the same care you would use for your own residence and leave it in the same condition as when you arrived. To avoid theft or damage to furniture or personal property, you agree to close and lock doors and windows when you are not present at the property and at the time of departure. You and other occupants agree to behave during your stay in a manner that is respectful and non-disruptive to neighbours, traffic or the community and will not result in complaints to the owner from the police, neighbours or neighbourhood or homeowner associations. Audible noises outside the property are prohibited between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. 7. Maintenance or household matters; conditions of the property. The property is provided as is, and we are not responsible for the inability or unavailability of any equipment. You agree to contact us as soon as you notice a maintenance or maintenance problem, or any potentially dangerous condition, on the property, or if an incident occurs on the property that is related to such a problem or condition. We will take reasonable and appropriate steps to address any reported problems as soon as possible. We may enter the property at your invitation to remedy any problem you report, at reasonable times and with reasonable notice to inspect, maintain or repair the property, and to treat any situation that we reasonably consider to be an emergency that threatens people or property. 8. We do not provide credit for early departures, absences or delays. No subletting is allowed. 9. Reservations made under false pretenses will be considered cancelled by the guest and host and entry to the property will be denied to all members of their group; If guests are already registered, their stay will be completed and they will have to leave the property immediately. No refund of any kind will be made in such circumstances. 10. Guests' concerns and/or complaints should be made in writing, text or e-mail, AND before departure, leaving owners sufficient time to document and make reasonable corrections. 11. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, under no circumstances katie Beeston or La Belle Époque, nor its affiliates, managers, employees or agents, will be liable in any way, indirectly or incidental, for indirect, special or exemplary damages, or for any damage in the event of death, bodily injury, emotional distress or material damage, resulting from or in connection with your stay at the property - Covid and the 2020/2021 season - The conditions for cancellation of holiday rentals are subject to French law. The French government may decide to introduce specific measures for tourism that could change the conditions that can or should be applied. You are strongly advised to keep track of travel insurance conditions and ensure that your policy offers the best possible coverage, especially for medical risks to you and your family that may affect your ability to travel. Violations of rental policies, occupancy rules, rules regarding animals and the house or the terms of the rental agreement will result in the immediate termination of the stay without any refund and the loss of the rental deposit. |
