Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, between Bonnieux and Lourmarin, 4.5 km from the small town of Apt, the magnificent fortified farmhouse of the 17th century called "Domaine des Vieilles Tourrettes" was, until the revolution of 1789, part of the possessions of the bishop of Apt. Surrounded by lavender fields with unobstructed views of Mont Ventoux and the Mountains of Vaucluse, this beautiful site is renowned for its calm and silence… The estate produces lavandin essence and honey. The old Dovecote or Colombier has been converted into a cottage for two people. The stripped-down character of the Colombier has been deliberately preserved. An old stone staircase leads to the entrance of the cottage located at mid height: bright round living room with a large window and the door leading, kitchenette with small table and cupboard, storage for dishes, bathroom with shower and toilet. An oak staircase located in the living room leads up to the bedroom: it is rounded as the living room is illuminated by two windows, one overlooking the old roofs of the farmhouse, the other overlooking the countryside. Bed of 160, chest of drawers. The stripped-down character of the Colombier has been deliberately preserved. Linen is provided, included in the price. Outdoor terrace at the foot of the stairs with table, chairs, Chilean, wicker armchairs. Optional cleaning. Tourist tax included 0,95 €/person/night
