Departing from the station at the Saint-Ignace Pass, in the town of Sare in the Basque Country, don't miss a chance to ride the Rhune train, a small train on a cog railway. On board one of its wooden cars, climbing up the mountainside for 35 minutes at 9 km per hour, admire stunning landscapes where manech sheep, Pottok ponies and griffon vultures roam freely... Once at the top of the Rhune, 905 metres above sea level, enjoy a splendid view of the Basque coast and the Pyrenees!
