Important pilgrimage site, the Sacré-Coeur basilica of Paray-le-Monial is considered to be the scaled-down version of the Cluny abbey church and constitutes a remarkable example of Romanesque art. The cloister next to the basilica is home to a garden of medieval inspiration.
