Not far from the famous Buttes-Chaumont Park, on either side of Rue de Mouzaïa and Rue Miguel Hidalgo in Paris' 19th arrondissement, the Mouzaïa district is named after a place in Algeria and is like a charming patch of countryside right at the heart of the city.

Built in the 1890s in old gypsum quarries to house workers of modest means, the adorable little houses that line the picturesque pedestrian streets in Mouzaïa form a unique neighbourhood that's very sought-after nowadays!
