At the south tip of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, the Gats Gorges are part of Drôme's exceptional natural heritage. Located between Châtillon-en-Diois and Glandage, they are made up of impressive limestone cliffs. Over ten or so kilometres, go deep into the valley where the gorges offer a stunningly beautiful landscape!
During your walks, you can take a break at one of the picnic areas in a wild and unspoilt setting. Then, make your way along ancient roads leading to abandoned villages where nature has reasserted itself...
The Gats Gorges also cater to thrill-seekers, especially canyoning fans. It must be said, the waterfalls and natural slides make the Rio Sourd canyon an inviting place for an exciting descent! Climbers, meanwhile, will be delighted by the many sites dedicated to their pursuit.
