The cradle of Marchoise tapestry, the town of Felletin is still renowned today for this traditional craft whose know-how is perpetuated by the Pinton studios.
In the historic centre, architecture fans absolutely must visit the Moutier church, a beautiful building of the 12th and 15th centuries. Topped by a high square bell tower with three floors, this monument is home to magnificent frescoes dating from the 15th century.
The visit of Felletin continues with the charming garden of the cloister adjoining the Moutier church, the streets lined with beautiful old granite houses, the lantern of the dead dating from the 13th century, and the church of the Castle of Gothic Languedoc style, which is home to tapestry exhibitions.

National Days of Wool Felletin: the last weekend of October. Cradle of tapestry, Felletin has been associated with textile production for six centuries. Today, the tradition remains an economic reality with the activity of the Terrade wool mill and the Pinton tapestry factory. For 3 days, Felletin, celebrates wool and textile creation. On the program: company visits, craft show with more than 100 exhibitors from all over France, demonstrations workshops (knitting, spinning, felt...), children's workshops (scoubilaine, braiding, weaving...), conference...
