Situated in the Morvan Regional Nature Park, the summit of the Beuvray mount is home to the remains of the Gallic oppidum of Bibracte. Walking around the site you will discover the Rebout gateway, the convent pasture and its monumental pool, the houses of the horse park, and Saint-Pierre fountain. Besides its remarkable archeological site and its magnificent forest of beeches, the Beuvray mount, reaching 821 metres at its highest point, also offers a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. On the hillsides of the mount, the Bibracte museum is dedicated to the Celtic civilization.
