Walking tour No.11 from Espeyrac

Depart from the town of Espeyrac, latitude 44.6123100 (N 44° 36’ 44”), longitude 2.5092700 (E 2° 30’ 33”)

• Departure

• From the square, pass in front of the main entrance of the church. Go right to the hotel-restaurant and the information point (note: a "work" that was used to ferret oxen or horses). Take a left in front of the hotel restaurant. Follow the D 42 towards "Senergues", pass a first bridge over the Daze des Vernhettes (beautiful cross carved after the bridge). Continue on the road. Pass a second bridge over a second Daze.

• Immediately after, at 30 m, fork left on a sandy road. At 100 m, at the level of a renovated barn, climb to the right by a "carral" (path in the woods) to the small road leading to Saint-Bauzels. Continue left for 350 m. At the first crossroads, turn right and climb into the hamlet (beautiful typical houses well restored).
• At a sharp turn, take a flat sandy path to the right. Pass the farm and descend through woods and pastures towards D 42 (beautiful views of the village and valley of Espeyrac). During the descent, leave a first path to the left and then a second to the right. Get on the road. Borrow it right for 150 m. Turn left and pass in front of the mill (production of walnut oil and organic flour: recommended visit).
• At the junction with the GR65, 100 m after the mill, slant to the right. Go down to the creek by a pleasant dirt road. Cross on a bridge. Walk along the fence wall of the cemetery. Go up to the village square.
