Itinerary

Map : guidemap Vals du Dauphiné and hiking routes in les Vals du Dauphiné (Vallons du Guiers area) available at the tourist office of Pont de Beauvoisin for 5€ or 3€. Tag : PR – Yellow – CAUTION BACK AND FORTH TRACK – from the crossroads sign of Saint Didier d’Aoste, follow La Digue du Rhône / La Douane and turn around. (see on the walking record enclosed) - Ground type : soil, pebble - Between softness and vitality, the hill of les Vallons du Guiers (east part of les Vals du Dauphiné) are a nice playground for family walks or more sporty walks, along the river or in the heart of the forest. You will appreciate the panoramas on the Buhey, Le Chat, L’Epine and the Chartreuse, very close ! Adobe walls houses and scale tiles, castles and strong hold houses building the border between the old kingdoms of France and Piemont Sardaigne. Our tagged walking tracks are for pedestrians, mountain bikes and horses.
