A walk through the forest and the gorges to a very famous site: the Navacelles Cirque. Depart from the plateau of the Causses de Campestre-et-Luc, at an average altitude of 650 m, and arrive at the bottom of a massive cirque at an altitude of 400 m. The difficult climb is rewarded by the site's wild beauty, the mysterious entrails of the earth and the ruinform rocks crowning the summit of the cirque. The sides of the Vis or the Virenque gorges maintain traces of the beech forest which used to cover the entire Causses area in ancient times. Visit the spring of the Foux, the resurgence of the Vis, very close to Navacelles, its old restored mill surrounded by turquoise babbling waters. Gastronomy is also on the programme in the charming small village of Navacelles, where you will be able to recharge your batteries for the return journey.
