Access

Access to the starting point in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins: Mindin site. Follow signs to the town centre and then continue to the end of Avenue de Mindin, the starting point is at the Maritime Museum, opposite the port of Saint-Nazaire, on the Loire estuary. Another starting point in Pornic: Quai Commandant l'Herminier car park. Another starting point in Les-Moutiers-en-Retz: at the port of Collet. GPS coordinates: Saint Brévin 47,15 44°/North 02,09,58°/West.

Itinerary

Site of Mindin in Saint-Brevin: View over the Loire estuary, Saint-Nazaire bridge. You are facing the Shipyards...

Follow the Jade Coast: Depart from Mindin, Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, follow the signs to keep to the right path! Saint-Brevin-l'Océan, Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, and Tharon towards Préfailles.

Saint-Gildas Point for a breathtaking view and continue to Préfailles Sainte-Marie on the way to Pornic.

Pornic: the old port and its castle. Stop off for a strawberry ice-cream! Continue your route towards Bourgneuf-en-Retz. Pass through La Bernerie-en-Retz, Les Moutiers-en-Retz, and arrive in Bourneuf Bay, where you can admire the typical fisheries around the bay.

Bourgneuf Bay: the port of Collet. You are in the kingdom of oyster farmers, so enjoy some oysters and mussels to reward you for your efforts! Entry point to the Breton Marshes... another programme!
