The Vals of the Tilles

• Chalmessin Fountain

• The fountain is decorated with a shell and a chute in the shape of a snake's head. The troughs no longer drink livestock but are the most beautiful ornament once filled with flowers in the summer. The height of the inner basin testifies to a comfort that did not offer an older laundry, and which forced women to wash on their knees. This wash house, located in the center of the village, no longer exists and the bridge remains the witness of this time. It spans the Tille which has its source in the Nature Reserve upstream of the village.
• The construction of the present wash house dates from the years 1830-1850 when the mayor of the time, Mr. Joseph VOTROT, decided to remodel the Romanesque chapel by erecting the current bell tower of the church and a resident of the village, Mr. FLOT decorated the choir in a neo-Byzantine style rather unusual in these countries. Above the village, Gallo-Roman remains have been discovered and are exhibited at the Museum of Langres.

• Lamargelle-aux-Bois wash house

• Built in 1830, this washhouse surprises with its vast proportions and the richness of the aquatic motifs that adorn the fountain. Made of cast iron, it is decorated with a trough in the shape of a snake head that reflects a decorative trend common to many villages in the area, while not being identical to each other. That same year, the church was built in a neo-Gothic style that gives it this slender look and this building amazes as if the village was a showcase for this small architectural jewel.

• Church Notre-Dame in Villemervry

• The building as a whole is said to have been built in the second half of the 12th century. The semi-circular bays illuminating the nave seem to have been pierced in the 18th century, and it is perhaps during the same campaign that the nave was capped.
• The building is made of a simple barlong nave, closed to the east by a choir of a flat bedside span and west of a span forming a porch and supporting the tower of the bell tower. These 2 bays are covered with a vault of ogives, the nave is capped. She is completely blind on the north side and the foothills of the nave on the same side have been torn off.
