After about 500 m, and after the bridge, take a path that leaves on the left, in the curve of the road. Climb between two fields then along the wood to join the D 140 on the plateau. Follow the departmental road on the left to cross with the D 299 you need to take, staying left. Then turn right on a small grass path and turn left at the small grove to join the Grandes Charmes circuit. Follow the latter, continuing straight until the entrance to the Bois du Défois. From there, turn left to go down through the woods and reach the village of Châtoillenot (birthplace of Joseph CRESSOT, 1882-1954). From the center of the village, turn left to join the D 299 towards Longeau. Continue on this road to the bridge over the Badin. In the bend, before the bend, continue straight ahead to take a path lined with fields. After an elbow turn left, about 400 meters and turn right after the hut and the pond. Cross the brook "le Vezin" on the bridge. Continue until the D 295 that you take opposite to join Courcelles-Val-d'Esnoms. Cross the village, pass the church and turn right to pass over the "Badin". Take immediately left, along the river, to a second footbridge that you must take on the left also. Continue straight on, to the road, and take the direction of the Ferme de la Dhuis. At the end of the village, take a path on the left that goes up on the plateau. After two kilometers, a junction offers two possibilities: - Take a right to join the farm of Dhuis. Continue the white road until the road then, turn right to arrive at the hamlet of Roche-Fontaine. Cross it and take a path in grass that leads to the woods "Montots". Continue straight on, then turn right on a forest path that goes down to the Dhuis farm. From there, turn right, then at the next crossroads, again right to reach Roche Fontaine and then the place of the fork. - Or, turn left and go down to Esnoms-au-Val. All the tourist info on
