The start of the walk is 2 km from the centre of the village of Sanilhac. Start by making your way towards "Le Marinier" about 1 km away and pass through the hamlet. At the next crossroads, follow the sign to "le Fayet". Aafter 500 m you have arrived.


Depart from Le Fayet and pass the large stone cross on the way to Marinier. At the crossroads before Marinier, stay on the left and leave the path to the centre of Sanilhac on your right. Pass through Marinier and continue along the path past the old fountain. Follow this path for about 2 km and cross the Blajoux via the old stone bridge. After 300 m, turn left at the crossroads and continue downstream. After 1.5 km you will arrive at the bottom of Le Fayet. Follow the road up the village crossing Blajoux bridge one last time.
