The start of the walk is 2 km from the centre of the village of Sanilhac. Start by making your way towards "Le Marinier" about 1 km away and pass through the hamlet. At the next crossroads, follow the sign to "le Fayet". Aafter 500 m you have arrived.
Leave Le Fayet, passing in front of the large stone cross towards Le Marinier. You have to go up, walk past the houses and reach a small path, along a low wall decorated with sculptures. At the crossroads before Le Marinier, stay left, leaving the path on the right which leads to the center of Sanilhac. Cross the Marinier, and continue along the path behind the old fountain. Follow this path, marked in yellow and white. Cross a first bridge over the Riou, then take the upward path and join the path along a low wall, always well marked in yellow and white. After about 1.5 km, cross the Blajoux via the old stone bridge. After 300 m at a final crossroads, turn left downstream (you leave the markings here). Very easy trail to follow, in the forest. Be careful in autumn, stones can be slippery. After 1.5 km we return to the bottom of the village of Fayet. Go back up the road, crossing the Blajoux bridge one last time.
