• Triangular square surrounded by arcades (from the 16th to the 19th century with Renaissance facades) supporting notably the HoÌtel de Ville, built by Claude Mique (cousin of Richard Mique, architect of Marie- Antoinette), whose current state goes back to the last years of the old Regime (1793). Square bearing the name of MareÌ chal chal Duroc, neÌ ?? Pont-a-Monson, located at the Royal Military School of Pont-a-Mons. Thanks to the confidence Napoleon gave him, he was named? Grand MareÌ chal of the Palace and Duke of Friuli.

• The staple of the porch bears the date of 1591.

• It occupies the former Hotel de la Monnaie, a great Renaissance building (the popular tradition is that one struck there the currency at the time of the dukes). The museum is specialized ?? in paper objects maÌcheÌ ?? made in Pont-a-Mons. Part is dedicated to the Mussipontans printers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. It also presents the History of the City, the University? lorraine installed at Pont-a-Monsson in 1572 and foundries at Pont-a-Mons.

• Saint John Church

• Having become a private house, there remains the porch of one of the four parishes founded in the 13th century.

• House of Magot RogeÌ ?? city

• Former Mussipontaine family who counted ?? many magistrates and law professors at the time of the University ?? Among their descendants are Jean Joseph Magot, former mayor and general councilor at the end of the nineteenth century, who died in 1883; and his brother Joseph the benefactor of the city. The eighteenth century house that belonged to the Magot family is located ?? at 6 rue des Potiers.

• Chapel of the institute

• Establishment created ?? in 1851, founded ?? by Joseph Magot at the location of a convent of the minimal suppressed ?? at the ReÌvolution, now a showroom.

• Tour of the PreÌÌvotete

• The PreÌ? VoÌteÌ? was built in the 14th century. It was the seat of justice and the police (the pre-voce was a judge). The tower was both a sign of the power of the pre-vault and an observatory.

• Paradise Place Panorama

• This square offers a beautiful view of the bridge, the Moselle, the hill of Monsoon, the church Saint Martin and the Abbey of the PreÌ ?? shows. The boulevards were eÌ ?? installed on the dyke raised by the last royal mayor of the city, Trouard de Riolle, to protect the city from the floods of the Moselle.

• Prague Tower

• Old big tower, vestige of the ramparts of which only the foundations remain today.

• Waterways of France (V.N.F)

• These are administrative offices and maintenance workshops with a fleet of river gears belonging to the Pont-a-Mons sub-division. This subdivision has the peculiarity ?? to manage the dredging and marking of the entire Moselle, from Neuves-Maisons to the German border.

• Thiers Square

it did not become a real place until 1850 when the railway was installed. The buildings that bordered it formed the hydrotherapy institute at the time when Pont-à-Mousson was a spa town.

• Victor Hugo Street
