Welcome to this sound walk on the legends and stories of the public garden, imagined by the City of Cambrai labelled City of Art and History. The walk begins in front of the statue of Alfred de Vigny in the public garden. It is located at the corner of The Marshal of Lattre Street in Tassigny and St. John's Alley. I'll see you right now!

Itinerary

Towards the bandstand

Greet Alfred well, climb the stairs to the right, follow the large aisle to the bandstand on your left.

To Pomone

Now go up the paved path to the citadel street and cross the road. You enter the flower garden. Take the aisle to the left and turn into the driveway right away. Stop in front of the stone statue of a woman.

Towards the octopus

Let's leave Pomone on our right and follow the aisle to the octopus statue. Look carefully, it is sometimes hidden by vegetation.

To Orpheus

Let's leave Gilliatt on our right and continue our way until we cross the next sculpture at the foot of which rests a three-headed dog. Stay well on the aisle, it will eventually appear.

Towards the butterfly

Head to the weeping tree. Watch out, he stings! Take the right-hand lane just behind and the first left after Gilliatt. Still left, then right to the butterfly massif. How's it going, are you still following?

Towards the Blériot monument

Let's leave the butterfly on our right and walk up the right aisle to the rocky staircase. The Bleriot monument we are looking for represents a globe-terrestrial. It is after the stairs on the right.
