This circuit departing from the commune of Soucé, in Mayenne, on the border of Orne, offers the opportunity to visit the floral village of Saint-Fraimbault, the medieval town of Domfront, with the remains of the walls and the keep of William the Conqueror's castle, Sauncerie mansion, the site of Fosse Arthour, Lonlaye-l'Abbaye, with its abbey and its biscuit factory, and, finally Chaslerie mansion.

Coming from Paris via the N12 or the A81, from the south or from southern Brittany via Laval - take Mayenne - Ambrières-les-Vallées via the D23 and D962 - 8 kilometres north of Ambrières-les-Vallées, turn left towards Soucé via the D207 and D201.
Coming from the north - Caen, Flers, Domfront via the D962 - In Domfront continue towards Mayenne/Laval - After Ceaucé continue for 2 km towards Ambrières-les-Vallées, then turn right towards Soucé via the D207 and D201.
Start of the circuit: outside Soucé church.
From the church in Soucé, continue towards Saint-Fraimbault. Visit the floral village of Saint-Fraimbault (4-flower certification) and its lake. Continue towards Torchamps via "pont des Planches" bridge and the waterwheel. Take the historic road along the "Varenne" river and pass the Torchamps leisure base. Pass through the town of Torchamps heading towards Domfront and cross the "Varenne" again and continue to Domfront. Visit the medieval town (ramparts, ruins of the keep, small pedestrianised streets in the centre). Do not forget to admire the attractive interior courtyards, Place Saint-Julien and the panoramic viewpoints. Leave via the road to Mont St Michel and Barenton and visit the Saucerie mansion, about 5 km from Domfront. Then head towards Saint-Georges-de-Rouelley and the Fosse Arthour. Stop and visit the site with its small stream and rocks for climbing and walk around the lake. Go to Lonlay-l'Abbaye (visit the abbey and the biscuit factory) and on the way back to Domfront, stop at Chaslerie mansion. Return to the starting point via Domfront and Ceaucé. Enjoy your trip!
