The walk begins along the bird observatory of the ornithological site of Poses. It consists of following from there the well-defined path around Lake Poses. Particularly attractive during nesting, it can be framed on certain dates by experienced guides who lend the observation equipment.

The departure is near the observation cabin which is located on the right hand side of the road leading from Saint-Pierre-du-Vauvray to Pont-de-l'Arche, 1 km before Val-de-Reuil: the sign of Ornithological site of La Grande Noë is clearly visible.

Follow the marked trail by walking around the lake in a clockwise direction.
There are 3 observatories along the marked path. After the 3rd, it will take in some places the road to join the start if you want to make a complete tour.
