A varied display every instant between the sky, the land and the water.
On the land: The walk follows a small forest road and trails which wind their way between the pine forest and the boxwood. The chance to observe chamois and their young. The bread ovens in the villages you pass through are interesting examples of local heritage.
In the sky: You will never tire of admiring the flight of the many species of birds which nest on Montcusel rock: peregrine falcons, crows, nightingales, etc.
On the water: along the entire walk: streams, waterfalls, fountains and, from the many panoramic viewpoints, views over the region's lakes.
In Chancia, climb up towards the chapel, Below the chapel, continue towards Nezan.
At the first crossroads, veer right and make your way around the housing development.
After the houses, the forest road winds its way through the pine trees and box.
You will arrive at Chancia panoramic viewpoint. A bench and an orientation table offer the chance to admire Lake Coiselet, la Bienne, Chancia, Condes and the Oliferne Peak.
Continue along the road which is not surfaced and make your way to the village of Nezan. There, take Rue du Courbet and, on the hill, continue along the main trail.
At the "Grande Feuillée" (sign for Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park), veer right. Follow the orange signpoints for the horse riding and mountain biking trails. Ignore the paths on the right and left and make your way to the Nezan road.
On the right, climb up to a hunters' cabin and leave the tarmac road and descend along a path to a building (horse riding and mountain biking signs).
At the next intersection, you will see yellow and blue markers to Montcusel. Admire the communal oven and fountains.
Descend towards Chancia via the small road. Two panoramic viewpoints and some great views await you.
