From the village centre, make your way to the D940 and at the Dannes roundabout, turn right towards the beach and the Mont Saint Frieux dunes.
From the car park located 1 km west of Dannes along the D940, take the path towards "Chablis - Mont Saint Frieux".
Cross the chicane and continue towards "Mont Saint Frieux "
At the intersection, turn left, cross the dunes and climb up the hill.
You have arrived on Mont Saint Frieux! In the Middle Ages, this is where a monk by the name of Frihoc became famous for sacrificing himself in order to warn people that the Vikings were coming!
Make your way back down the path you followed up to the intersection and then turn right to "retour P" to return to the starting point.
