9 km from the centre of La Bresse. From the town centre, make your way towards "Vallée du Chajoux" (at the crossroads 2 km from the Town Hall).
Start at the car park and follow the "yellow ring" signposting. A series of information boards will explain the history of the Vosges peat bogs and, in particular, will offer a description of the flora of the floating peat bog at the Lispach site.
Caution: marsh, do not stray from the path!
Covering a surface area of 1,217 ha and 9 m deep, the maximum volume of water is 200,000 m3. Fishing is regulated.
Prolong the walk by visiting the old copper mine to the north of the lake, 10 minutes away along a path signposted with a "yellow ring".
