Lavender Path - Hikes & walks in Sault

From Sault, the lavender capital, this path allows you to discover this symbol of Provence while it is in bloom (July and August), but is also enjoyable at other times of the year. Follow the interpretation boards (botanic, culture, harvest, distillation), and signposting along the way.

On the way out of the village, follow signs to Mont Ventoux (D164). After 700 m; continue towards Michouilles and 1.3 km further on, stop at the car park on the right (after the Vallon distillery). The Lavender Path is indicated.


At the car park, take the road down to the bottom of the valley following the green marking on the small wooden posts. A few dozen metres from the starting point, you will find the first information board presenting botanical facts about lavender. Follow the itinerary and the signposting and continue straight ahead along the tarmac path.
