In the village of Aignan, head towards Lake Aignan 4 km to the north. Aignan Tourist Office has a detailed information sheet for this walk. The walk is clearly marked.
Take the road on the right, then the path to the left and walk along the itinerary following the markers in the woods. The path goes slightly uphill.
Leave the PR2 on the left and turn right. Cross the little stream of Pont-du-Loup then carry on along the path that goes slightly uphill and crosses a moor made up of gorse and ferns.
At the intersection where a pigeon hunters’ hut stands, turn left onto the path and you will end up at a road. Turn left onto it and walk for 200 m.
Turn right and walk uphill along the path for 700 m.
At the intersection, turn left and follow the path dotted with pigeon hunters’ huts for around 1 km. Take care…
Once you arrive at the fork in the road, turn left and walk along the lake to return to the starting point of the walk.
