Access

The itinerary starts and ends at 9 Rue Vallée at the Tourist Office, on the corner of Rue du Château and Place de l'Hôtel de Ville.

Itinerary

Rue Vallée, take the first right on to Cour Roger which leads to Avenue Joussaume Latour. Pass behind Hôtel-Dieu, turn left at Tour des Augustines, take Rue de la Barre, and pass the eastern rampart of the town. Take the first right on to Cour Renan (Porte Saint-Pierre gate) and at the car park, take the small street on the right. Cross Rue de Fère, and take the small street opposite, and take the first right on to Rue du Parc. At the end of the street, either take the staircase or the dirt track. When you arrive at Avenue Léon Lhermitte, pass through the military cemetery, leave it on the left and cross Avenue Léon Lhermitte and pass through the civil cemetery (Jacopin tomb can be visited on request), exit via Rue des Fusiliers and turn right on to Rue de Fère. Cross Avenue de Soissons, take the first street on the right, Rue Racine, at the end of the street, the La Paye sculpture. Turn left on to Rue de la Madeleine, and turn left on to Rue Saint-Crépin, cross Avenue de Soissons, and take Grande Rue opposite and turn right on to Rue Drugeon Lecar. Cross Marne bridge, and take Rue Carnot to the roundabout and the War Memorial. Turn around and walk back along the other side of Rue Carnot or follow the Fausse Marne and the Marne and cross the Marne bridge again. Cross Rue du Général de Gaulle, turn right on to Place de l'Hôtel de Ville and then take the first right on to Rue Vallée.
