Access

From the centre of the village, follow signs to Moreuil. On the way out of the village of Paillart, take the last road on the right towards Vésigneux. Continue for 1.5 km. Stop at the picnic area on the side of the Selle River on your left.

Itinerary

Just before the picnic area, you will find the first sign for the Fédération Française de Randonnées (French Hiking Federation). Follow this signposted path to the village of Folleville (2 km) through the woods and over the fields.

The path winds through the countryside, between the Noye valley and the Somme valley. At the top of the hill, you will arrive in Folleville. The village of Folleville is home to an exceptional heritage with the ruins of a medieval castle and a church with some remarkable recumbent statues, white marble tombs and other statues. Folleville church is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

For the return, you can choose an alternative route via the private lake of the Vésigneux estate, where you can admire the geese and ducks.
