Itinerary

On the Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye road (D957), you will see a very beautiful windmill on the right (Blot windmill) which has been restored to its original condition. Car park outside. Tour of the mill: traditionally milled organic flour.

Return to the D957 and continue to Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye.

In Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, park in the large car park at the bottom of the village (on the left). The Tourist Office is on the car park. Potters' village with museum. Many exhibitions.

Continue on the road towards Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye (D955).

About 4 km further on, turn right towards Treigny and visit Ratilly castle and church (outstanding) in Treigny.

Take the D955 towards Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye. On the way, visit Guédelon medieval castle, which is under construction, situated in the forest. Large car park at the entrance. Plan 2 or 3 hours or more for the visit. It is possible to eat at the site.

When you leave the castle, continue towards Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye. When you arrive, visit the village and the Colette museum.

Then take the D7 towards Sainte-Colombe-sur-Loing. Return via Sainpuits (pass near the Loing spring) across the countryside. Then continue towards Entrains-sur-Nohain and return to the start of the circuit.
