The Colinet loop, which connects the communes of Cézac and Cavignac, is named after a small river running right through the territory. Amidst many water mills, now extinct, its banks have formed, certainly since the Middle Ages, an active economic pole. From now on, Le Colinet flows slowly in a small shaded valley which gives to the walkers, in the heart of the summer, a resting halt. Other streams (the Fontgerveau, the Chevillard, the Nauve Creuse) ply the territory peacefully and are points of attachment for vegetation adapted to wet spaces. Near these rivers you will discover a landscape that is declined by little touch in meadows and small woods that make up a landscape imbued with great gentleness. Along the way, the vineyard, which prefers well-drained and slightly undulating land, imposes on the countryside the regular prospects of its rows of vines. This is particularly noticeable near the town of Cavignac which is seen, with its main street lined with beautiful mansions, large rural village overlooking the surrounding terroir.
