In order to promote the buildings and historic sites of Clairoix, and to offer Clairoisiens and the outside people a small walk of discovery, a "historic course" was set up in July 2010.
It consists of 12 "stations", on a circuit of about one kilometer. Each station has an enamelled stoneware plate (on a desk or a panel), with a small explanatory text and illustrations.

The beginning of the course is in front of the town hall at 1 rue de Gaulle.
After turning in the street of the Aronde, cross the park of the town hall, take the rue Germaine Sibien, retrace your steps then go to the church and the vineyard; go back down the rue d'Oradour, take rue Saint-Simon, rue de la Bouloire, and finally rue de Flandre, then you come to the schools. You can go back to the town hall by the Rue de la Poste.
