Circuit of Grignon

To go to the center of the village, to the church

Departure place of the church.

Cross the channel of Courpalet and walk to the left. Follow the white and red markings of the GR 3B to the wooden walkway.

Once arrived, leave the GR 3B continuing along the channel.

At a place called Petites Maisons, cross the road and take the dirt road a few meters before leaving to join the channel.

Leave the farm of Pitazière on your right then continue along the bank of the channel to the forest. Cross and leave the channel at a meander through a wooden bridge. At the crossroads, take the road to Pommereaux until the crossroads of the Patte d'Oie.

Then head to the tarmac road that you will cross. Continue on the Forestière forest road. At the crossroads, turn right on the Jalousie road to the Orleans canal.

Walk along the canal on the right at the edge of the pond of Noue-Mazone and the forest. Then find the channel of Courpalet on arrival in the canal.

Cross the culvert. You will find here GR 3B that you will follow while continuing along the canal. Join the Sharing Point lock, take the bridge, then head right on the path along the canal that will take you to the Three Ecluses site. At the end of the bridge, cross the road, go down the steps, walk along the pond, the third lock then turn twice to the right. At the corner of the house, take the path on the left, pass the farm and continue.

Cross the road and follow the right bank of the channel of Courpalet. At the crossroads, continue on the road then, facing the farmhouse, continue left on the edge of the river and join the starting point in the village.
