Itinerary

From Porte des Moulins, make your way down Allée de Blanchefontaine, lined with lime trees, to the bottom, then turn right and pass under the bridge. Turn left to "Fontaine de la Grenouille", pass behind it, climb the stairs to the small tarmac road and turn right. When you reach the crossroads with the Greenway, continue straight ahead down to the Bennelle valley. After the stream, turn right and make your way to Saints-Geosmes via the Gallo Roman fountain. From there, take the small road on the right, then 50 metres further on, turn right again. At the next junction, turn right again to Fort de la Bonnelle. At the crossroads, turn right and, at the next junction, turn left to Buzon via the old strategic road. Pass two forks and turn right through the communal forest which shelters the site of "l'Escargot". Follow the road on the left for 150 m and climb a path on the left. In Buzon, climb up again on the left to the statue of the Virgin. Continue straight ahead and then turn left along a small path between two hedges. Turn right along the strategic road and join the GR7 long-distance hiking trail, signposted in white and red. From there, make your way to Brevoins, and climb up to Saint-Didier, passing below the former railway line (now a greenway) and through gardens. You will find yourself almost at the Navarre Tower. Climb to the road below the ramparts: a tough climb! Make your way to the Tourist Office either through the town centre or up the Porte Boulière staircase, via the ramparts of the Navarre Tower.
