Depart from the car park (190 spaces) in Thuès-entre-Valls before the Gorges (paying car park).
From the car park, make your way towards the entrance to the gorges. There, cross the railway bridge and follow the river on the right side along a good path to the first bridge, There, take the path on the left towards Roc de la Madrieu. Follow the path for 1-1½ hours to the rope bridge. The footbridges and rope bridge provide a passage over the river.
Return to the cliff top and the Chambre d'eau (car park via the gorges). Be careful not to get too close to the edge of the cliff ledge. A handrail is provided for your safety. Once you have reached the Chambre d'eau, turn left, the path winds down and passes over a SNCF railway bridge (Yellow Train) and a footbridge over the river.
