Departing from Erquy church, go down Rue Foch towards Cape Erquy. At the 2nd roundabout, continue straight ahead, walk up Rue de Tu es Roc, and at the very top of the Rue des Grès Roses, turn left onto Rue de la Côte des Pâques, and park at Cape Erquy car park.
Departing from the car park, exit at the bottom to the right, heading towards Le Portuais beach, then immediately turn right on Chemin du Haut Portuais. After 300 m, turn left and veer slightly to the right at the fire brigade barrier, towards Guen and Lanruen beaches, and cross a pine wood. It is marked, take the path above the sea, and return via the beach at the bridge (if you carry on, the walk will take you to Cape Fréhel!). Walk along the Portuais beaches, then Lourtuais along the customs officers’ path as far as Cape Erquy, return via the same path above Erquy harbour, for amazing views (see the hot shot furnace)! Finally, return via the moor opposite the exit from the blue lake, and return to the cape car park (the cape car park is not at the cape… but further along at the spot known as “le Portuais”).
